🪷 On the sacred occasion of Amitabha Buddha’s Birthday, we reverently recall how Amitabha Buddha, for the sake of all sentient beings, contemplated for five great kalpas, made vast and profound vows, and cultivated over countless eons—ultimately accomplishing the supremely virtuous Name “Namo Amitabha Buddha” and the magnificent, wondrous Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. We present this Buddhist music as an offering through sound, to proclaim the Fundamental Vow of Amitabha Buddha’s enlightenment and to reveal the true and unfailing reality of the Pure Land. May all who encounter this melody of the Buddha’s Name develop faith in the Buddha, recite His Name, aspire toward the Pure Land, be embraced by Amitabha’s compassionate light, and together realize Infinite Light and Infinite Life.

In ages beyond counting, in worlds beyond our sight,

A noble king saw sorrow and walked into the light.

He laid aside his kingdom, the crown he once had worn,

To walk the path of Dharma, with compassion newly born.

Amitabha, Infinite Light,

Shining through the darkest night.

Boundless Life, forever near,

Guide our hearts and calm our fear.

Namo Amitabha Buddha,

His Light sets us free.

As Dharmākara the monk, he vowed with mind so pure,

A land of bliss and freedom where all could feel secure.

Forty-eight great vows, oceans of compassion flow,

A refuge for all beings wherever they may go.

Amitabha, Infinite Light,

Shining through the darkest night.

Boundless Life, forever near,

Guide our hearts and calm our fear.

Namo Amitabha Buddha,

His Light sets us free.

Through countless eons of practice, his vows become complete,

And from his boundless merit, a Pure Land bloomed so sweetly.

Thus rose the Amitabha Buddha in radiant divine,

Calling every being home across the sands of time.

May his light awaken kindness in every breath we take,

May his vows remind us of the choices we make.

Turn your heart to Sukhāvatī, let Buddha's Name be your guide.

In Amitabha’s presence, may all sufferings cease.
