净平法师 Master Jing Ping

净平法师，现任新加坡净土宗弥陀寺，以及新山弘愿念佛会住持。法师深契弥陀愿海，以弘传念佛法门为己任，常年开演净土要义，敷扬持名妙法。其悲愿宏深，无论昼夜皆躬身实践慈悲行：或于耆老开示念佛安心之谛，或赴病榻前为患者演说往生之缘等。其说法契机契理，善巧方便，普令闻者信受弥陀救度，笃行持名妙法，同登极乐彼岸。

Master Jingping is the current abbot of Amitabha Monastery of Pure Land Buddhism in Singapore and Hongyuan Nianfo Association in Johor Bahru. Deeply attuned to the great vows of Amitabha, she has taken the propagation of the Pure Land practice of reciting the Buddha’s name as her lifelong mission. For many years, he shas tirelessly expounded the essentials of the Pure Land teachings, widely spreading the wondrous method of name-recitation.

With vast compassion and vows, she personally practices the path of kindness day and night: sometimes guiding the elderly on the truth of finding peace through Buddha-recitation, sometimes sitting at the bedside of patients to explain the causes and conditions for rebirth in the Pure Land. Her Dharma teachings are timely and appropriate, skillful and expedient, enabling all who hear them to entrust themselves to Amitabha’s salvation, earnestly uphold the wondrous practice of name-recitation, and together reach the other shore of Ultimate Bliss.

宗派传承 Lineage

【净土宗】
宗，为「尊」、「崇」、「主」之义，引申有「独尊」、「统摄」、「唯一」、「最胜」等义。亦即：在佛说一切法门中，独尊某一法门为主，并以此统摄其余所有法门之教义体系及教团组织，即称为「宗」，也称「宗派」。

　　中国佛教共分八宗，净土宗独尊念佛，以之为一代佛教归宗结顶之法，所谓「《华严》奥藏，《法华》秘髓，一切诸佛之心要，菩萨万行之司南，皆不出於此。」

　　净土宗由唐代善导大师（613—681）创立，奉《无量寿经》、《观经》、《阿弥陀经》为正依经典，依龙树菩萨《易行品》、天亲菩萨《往生论》、昙鸾大师《往生论注》、《赞阿弥陀佛偈》、道绰大师《安乐集》、善导大师《观经疏》、《观念法门》、《法事赞》、《往生礼赞》、《般舟赞》为相承祖师论释；尤尊善导大师《观经疏》为开宗立教之根本祖典。

　　净土宗以阿弥陀佛因愿果号为立教根本，以四十八愿中第十八愿为轴心，建立难易二道、自他二力、圣净二门、要弘二门之教判体系，确立心行业规范；以「信受弥陀救度，专称弥陀佛名，愿生弥陀净土，广度十方众生」为宗旨，以「本愿称名，凡夫入报；平生业成，现生不退」为特色。
