🌸近期，新加坡净土宗弥陀寺应莲友至诚祈请，净平法师偕同寺院法师与义工莲友，前往为一位七十高龄的长者举行庄严念佛超荐。法会中佛号声声，法音清净，愿将阿弥陀佛无尽慈悲回向，护送长者安然往生西方极乐。
净平法师于佛事中引导：世间荣华，终归一空；至亲眷属，黄泉路上难相随。唯有念佛，依靠弥陀大愿，才是究竟解脱之道。阿弥陀佛为十方众生建立极乐净土，凡称佛名者，悉蒙光明摄取，莲台接引。彼土无有忧苦，唯受清净喜乐，往生者身心自在，速证无上佛果。
此次，净平法师带领义工与莲友大众，虔诚启建《念佛超荐法会》。法会现场庄严肃穆，佛号回荡不绝。亡者家属亦虔心参与，双手合十，随声念佛。声声圣号中，不仅追荐亡灵仗佛愿力安然往生，也抚慰了在世家属的悲恸，使他们于佛号声里，真实感受到佛光慈悲的摄受与安慰。
正如善导祖师所言：「六方如来舒舌证，专称名号至西方；到彼华开闻妙法，十地愿行自然彰。」大众随声祈愿：愿佛光普照，慈力加被，令往生者者花开见佛，径登安养净土；并愿以此次佛事功德，回向法界一切有情，皆得离苦得乐，共生极乐。
若欲为已故亲友追荐，或有其他佛事需求，皆可联系净土宗弥陀寺。本寺免费结缘外出佛事，为往生亲人庄严举行念佛超荐及相关身后仪轨，愿以佛号功德护送安然往生；亦提供外出关怀与皈依，使年长病弱者在弥陀慈光中得安心依靠。同时，寺院设有祈福与超度牌位，随家属供立，共沾法益。愿佛光遍照，众生同蒙慈力。南无阿弥陀佛

🌸 Recently, in response to the sincere request of devotees, Master Jing Ping, together with monastics and volunteers of Pure Land Buddhism Amitabha Monastery, conducted a solemn Nianfo Memorial Service for a 70-year-old elder.
During the service, Master Jing Ping reminded: “Worldly glory fades, and even the closest family cannot accompany us at life’s end. Only Nianfo, relying on Amitabha’s great Vow, is the path of true liberation. Whoever recites His Name is embraced by His Light and welcomed to the Pure Land, where there is no suffering, only purity and joy.”
The Buddha’s Name resounded like ocean waves, bringing peace to the departed and consolation to the family. With palms joined, the bereaved sincerely joined in Nianfo, experiencing Amitabha’s compassionate embrace. May the merit of this service benefit all beings, guiding them to freedom from suffering and rebirth in the Land of Bliss.
For those wishing to dedicate merit to departed relatives or requesting other Buddhist services, Amitabha Monastery offers free outreach memorial ceremonies. The monastery solemnly conducts Nianfo chanting and related rites to assist the deceased in attaining peaceful rebirth, while also providing care visits and refuge ceremonies for the elderly and infirm—helping them find peace in Amitabha’s compassionate Light.
