🌸周日午后，新加坡弥陀寺再度响起佛号声声。2025年9月21日，信众齐聚参与「念佛祈福超荐暨法师开示」法会。此次法会，由净本法师慈悲开示《往生论注》，深入阐释天亲菩萨所说「一心归命」阿弥陀佛的深意。师父指出：念佛法门的核心，不在于修多少功课、懂多少教理，而在于是否真正做到「一心归命」。所谓「一心」，就是将我们这一生唯一的一颗心、一条命，全然托付给阿弥陀佛；所谓「归命」，就是不夹杂、不更换，专念南无阿弥陀佛。师父比喻，一心归命就如导航只能设一个目标，频道对了，才能接通佛的引导；若三心二意、东修西学，只会迷失方向，错失佛力感应。阿弥陀佛的大愿早已成就，这句六字洪名就是佛赐予我们直通极乐的号码。专念佛号，就是专接佛光频道。只要一心不改、专念到底，佛光自然摄取不舍，今生决定得度。
当日寺院内外庄严清净，佛号声声感人至深，近两百位莲友大众同聚一堂，至诚称名念佛，为亲人祈福回向，也为自身种下解脱的善因。法会开始前，多位义工早已悄然到位，默默承担起布置佛堂、点名接待、书写牌位、引导信众等各项工作。在义工们的用心护持下，现场井然有序，让每一位前来参与的莲友都深切感受到佛门的慈悲与温暖。
在净平法师带领下，法会庄重展开，师父慈悲主法，为大众启建念佛超荐，并领众绕佛称名。现场佛号声声不绝，庄严清净，众人双手合十，至心归命阿弥陀佛，整个道场祥和安定，如沐佛光。随之大众恭闻开示，内心感动不已，纷纷表示此行获益良多，不仅生起坚定的信心，更愿终身专念佛号，期生极乐净土。
随着佛号声声缓缓落下，整场法会也圆满收摄于庄严与清净之中。大众在佛前合掌念佛，神情专注，心中充满感恩与法喜。每一份感动、每一次心灵的触动，都是与阿弥陀佛慈光相遇、相应的真实见证。愿以此念佛共修功德，回向十方法界一切有情众生，脱离苦海，得生安养；愿今日所超荐与祈福的亲属眷属，蒙佛慈力摄受，光明安稳，往生净土。亦愿大众珍惜此法缘，常回弥陀寺念佛闻法，在佛号中安住，直到莲开见佛，永出轮回，圆证佛果。南無阿彌陀佛

【简介】新加坡净土宗弥陀寺为一所净土宗寺院，秉承阿弥陀佛大悲愿力，以弘扬念佛法门普度群萌为使命。每逢星期日，寺院定期举行「法师开示、超荐法会、念佛祈福」等殊胜活动；每周一至周六下午1时至4时，大殿亦开放，供信众回寺绕佛念佛。寺院慈悲免费提供「祈福牌位 · 超度牌位」登记服务，由四众弟子常年共修念佛，普皆回向；另设有免费祈请外出佛事服务，广结念佛法缘。若有意加入义工行列，可接洽弥陀寺了解相关事宜并申请报名。诚邀十方善信参与，共襄念佛胜缘，齐沾弥陀慈光。

[Unchanging Faith · Reaching the Other Shore of Bliss]
🌸 On September 21, 2025, the sound of Nianfo once again filled Pure Land Buddhist Amitabha Monastery, Singapore, as devotees gathered for a Nianfo Blessing Ceremony with Dharma Teaching led by Master Jing Ben. In his lecture on the Commentary on the Treatise on Rebirth in the Pure Land, Master Jing Ben compassionately explained Bodhisattva Vasubandhu’s phrase — “With one mind I take refuge in Amitabha Buddha.” He reminded that the essence of the Nianfo path is not in how many practices one performs or how much one understands, but in whether one can truly entrust one’s heart and life to Amitabha. “One mind means giving your one and only heart entirely to the Buddha,” he said. “Taking refuge means relying on Him alone, without mixing or wavering. Just as navigation can only follow one destination, only single-minded faith can connect with the Buddha’s guidance.” Master explained that Amitabha’s great Vow has already been fulfilled, and the six-character Name “Namo Amituofo” is the direct link to the Land of Bliss. To recite it with unwavering faith is to stay tuned to the Buddha’s Light. When the heart remains steady and sincere, one will surely be embraced by that Light and attain liberation in this very life.
The temple was serene and radiant as nearly two hundred devotees joined in heartfelt recitation, dedicating blessings to loved ones and all sentient beings. Volunteers quietly supported the ceremony — arranging the hall, guiding participants, and preparing memorial tablets — creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere filled with compassion.
Under Master Jing Ping’s guidance, the Nianfo chanting and circumambulation continued in peace and solemnity. As the sound of “Namo Amituofo” resounded through the hall, the assembly was filled with stillness and joy, their hearts illuminated by the Buddha’s compassionate Light.
May the merit of this Nianfo practice be dedicated to all beings throughout the Dharma realm — that they may be freed from suffering and reborn in the Pure Land. May all departed and blessed relatives be embraced by the Buddha’s compassion and attain peaceful rebirth. May everyone cherish this rare opportunity, returning often to Amitabha Monastery to recite and listen to the Dharma. May we all abide in the Buddha’s Name until the lotus blossoms open, we behold the Buddha, transcend samsara, and realize perfect enlightenment. Namo Amituofo 🙏
