🌸2025年11月8日，适逢菩萨圣诞（农历九月十九），马来西亚净土宗吉隆坡道场应莲友诚请，三位法师前往其家中，为一位年逾八旬的老菩萨进行关怀与传授三皈依仪式。
抵达后，法师们先带领家属共同念佛二十分钟，现场佛号声声庄严悠扬，氛围宁静而温暖。起初只有部分家属随声称念，但在佛号的感染下，陆续有更多家人合掌加入，一同祈愿佛光摄护，愿父母身心安稳、法喜充满。
念佛后，法师们坐在老菩萨身旁，轻声引导他念佛，并以简明温和的语言劝勉，人生无常，唯有念佛，才能得究竟安稳。阿弥陀佛的光明无所不照，念佛之人，佛必不舍。老菩萨全程神情安定，听得明白，也以微笑与点头回应，偶尔跟随称念佛号，现场充满祥和与感动。
随即，进入三皈依仪式。原本仅安排两位长者——父母二人皈依，然而在殊胜的圣诞，现场气氛法喜充满，其他家属也生起善心，共同发愿皈依三宝。正如师父所言：今日皈依，不仅是生命的开始，更是归向觉悟与光明的起点。
皈依仪式圆满后，大众再次合掌念佛回向，愿一家人同沾法益、佛光常照。法师们也留下道场结缘品与家属结缘，勉励于平日播放佛号，让家中长者随时心安念佛。

[Home Visit of Compassion · Auspicious Refuge Ceremony]
🌸 On November 8, 2025, the auspicious day of the Bodhisattva’s Birthday (19th day of the ninth lunar month), Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was sincerely invited by a devoted lay follower to visit his home. Three Dharma masters from the monastery conducted a compassionate home visit to care for and guide an elderly devotee in his eighties, and to confer upon him the Threefold Refuge Ceremony.
Upon arrival, the masters led the family in 20 minutes of Nianfo—reciting “Namo Amitabha Buddha.” The chanting filled the home with a serene and dignified atmosphere. At first, only a few family members joined, but gradually, more relatives folded their palms and joined in, praying for the Buddha’s light to bless their parents with peace of body and mind and abundant Dharma joy.
After the chanting, the masters sat beside the elderly gentleman, softly guiding him to recite the Buddha’s Name. In gentle and simple words, they reminded him: “Life is impermanent; only through Nianfo can we find ultimate peace. Amitabha Buddha’s light shines upon all beings—those who recite His Name are never forsaken.” The elder listened attentively, calm and focused, responding with smiles and nods, and at times joining in the recitation. The room was filled with harmony, warmth, and quiet joy.
Soon after, the Threefold Refuge Ceremony commenced. Originally, only the elderly couple was scheduled to take refuge, but on this blessed day, as joy and devotion arose, several other family members also expressed their wish to take refuge in the Three Jewels. As Master said: “Taking refuge today is not merely a beginning of faith—it is the start of one’s return to awakening and light.”
Following the ceremony, everyone once again chanted the Buddha’s Name together in dedication, wishing for the entire family to share in the blessings of the Dharma and be continually protected by the Buddha’s light. The masters also offered Dharma gifts to the family and encouraged them to play the Buddha’s Name at home regularly, allowing the elders to dwell in peace and mindfulness through constant recollection of Amitabha.
🪷This simple yet solemn home visit, held on the Bodhisattva’s Birthday, was truly an auspicious and compassionate event. Such Nianfo-based care is not only an act of companionship and comfort, but also a way of guiding beings back into Amitabha’s compassionate embrace.
May the merit of this gathering be dedicated to all elderly and ailing beings—May they be free from suffering, find peace of body and mind,and be reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amitabha Buddha. 🙏
