2025年11月16日清晨，马来西亚吉隆坡净土宗道场的天空飘着细雨，空气带着一丝凉意。然而，这场雨并未阻碍大众的步伐。莲友们撑着伞、脚步稳稳地走进道场。雨声、脚步声与远处传来的佛号声交织在一起，使整个道场显得格外清净、庄严。

净本法师在佛前合掌，恭敬主法，全场随即安静下来，法会由此拉开序幕。师父以寥寥数语为大众解开生命的迷雾：生离死别，不过是凡夫眼中的误解；生命不会因死亡而断灭。念佛人往生净土，是迁往更好的世界，是从苦海走向光明。

紧接着播放的是净本法师为念佛人所制作的佛曲《在佛光里，我们不曾分开》。这首佛曲源自师父对大众思念亲人的理解，以音声宣流弥陀救度的慈悲，愿安抚所有离苦的心。音乐一响起，殿内灯光柔和，许多莲友静静落泪，却露出释然的微笑；有人轻轻合掌，有人闭目感受佛光的拥抱。歌曲诉说：亲人虽离尘世，却已安住极乐，与佛同在，从未真正分开。现场气氛宁静而慈悲，充满对净土团聚的深信与向往。

随净本法师带领，大众虔诚恭诵超荐文。佛像光明照亮了每一张虔诚的脸，绕佛的队伍缓缓前行，佛号声穿过湿润的空气，如同一道温暖的光，照向每一颗心。

法会接近尾声时，殿外的雨势已然停歇，空气湿润而清新。大众合掌回向，祈愿此时此刻的功德，普施一切有情，使亡者得接引、在者得安乐。许多莲友轻声与彼此分享心声：“想到亲人只是搬去极乐世界，念佛真的让我安心。”雨后的天空透出柔和的亮光，正如大众的心从阴霾走向光明，从哀痛走向宁静。

【Reunion in the Buddha’s Name】
On the early morning of November 16, 2025, a light drizzle fell over the Kuala Lumpur Pure Land Buddhist Center. The cool air and gentle rain, however, did not deter the devoted. Carrying umbrellas, step by steady step, the devotees made their way into the Dharma hall. The sound of falling rain, footsteps, and the distant chanting of “Amituofo” intertwined, filling the entire space with a sense of purity and solemnity.

Ven. Jingben, standing before the Buddha with palms joined, respectfully led the ceremony as the hall fell into deep silence. With just a few compassionate words, the Master dispelled the confusion surrounding life and death: what we call “parting” is merely a misunderstanding of worldly beings; life does not end with the cessation of the body. For those who recite the Buddha’s Name, rebirth in the Pure Land is not an ending but a transition—moving from the sea of suffering to the world of ultimate brightness.

After the brief teaching, the hall played a Dharma song composed by Ven. Jingben, “In the Buddha’s Light, We Were Never Apart.” Born from the Master’s compassion for those grieving their loved ones, the song carries Amitabha’s salvific vow through melody and verse. As the music began, the hall’s lighting softened. Many devotees quietly wiped away tears yet smiled with relief; some placed their palms together, while others closed their eyes and allowed the Buddha’s light to embrace them. The song reminded everyone that although loved ones have left this world, they now abide peacefully in the Land of Bliss—together with Amitabha Buddha, never truly separated. The atmosphere grew gentle and compassionate, filled with deep faith and longing for reunion in the Pure Land.

Following Ven. Jingben’s guidance, the assembly reverently chanted the transference text. The Buddha statue’s radiance illuminated each sincere face. The circumambulation procession moved slowly, step by step, while the sound of the Buddha’s Name flowed through the moist air like a warm beam of light, touching every heart.

As the ceremony neared its end, the rain outside had already stopped, leaving the air fresh and cool. With palms joined, the assembly dedicated the merit, praying that all beings—living or departed—may receive peace and liberation. Many devotees shared softly with one another: “Knowing that my loved one simply moved to the Pure Land brings me such relief.” “Reciting the Buddha’s Name truly calms my heart.” The sky after the rain revealed a gentle brightness, just like the hearts of the devotees—moving from gloom to clarity, from sorrow to serenity.
